Bob -- Our names are Steve & Kathy
Palmer.
We're writing this e-mail because all too often in our busy lives we don't take the time to tell people how we feel unless we're complaining about something. As the Operations Manager, I'm sure you can identify with that fact. In mid November we stopped into your Woodbury showroom and met Bob Ritchie. It was nearly closing time, but he took the time to fully explain how Minnesota Tile operates, he also showed us samples of your granite, took our measurements and called us the next day with a quote for 2 different types that we had chosen. We went back to the Woodbury showroom and picked out the granite and some tile for the backsplash based on Bob's recommendations. Going with Bob's recommendations proved to be one of the smartest things I've ever done (as a husband doing his own projects). I've attached a couple photos of the finished work. Prior to going to MTS, we had been to Granite Transformations, Lowes and Home Depot for quotes. One of these other vendors required a payment to get a quote, which would be applied to the purchase price if we went with them (not too appealing). Neither Home Depot or Lowes would commit to installation prior to Xmas, which Bob said would not be a problem.
Bob coordinated a visit to your fabrication facility in Brooklyn Park for us to actually see, touch, and pick out the pieces of granite which would be used in our kitchen. Soon after we visited your Brooklyn Park facility, we had a call from John Wellman who set up a time for Jeremy to come out for the field measurement. Jeremy came out, took the measurements, and indicated again, that installation before Xmas would not be an issue. John Wellman called again and said that we were scheduled for the 12th of December and asked if we would like to be the morning or the afternoon client. We indicated, we'd prefer morning. On the morning of the 12th., Jeremy called and said they were on their way (nice touch). Jeremy arrived along with another gentleman. They covered the floor with tarps, and set to work. These guys are good (but I'm sure you know that). Everything went without a hitch, and they were done before noon.
I can't say enough about the professionalism, friendliness and quality of the work that we experienced with your company. Specifically, we'd like to single out Bob Ritchie and Jeremy Kroski (I think). The single point of contact (Bob Ritchie) was fabulous. He called several times to let us know what was going on and to ask us if we had any questions. One other thing that I forgot to mention is the fact that you were the only company that offered "one stop shopping." You show it, sell it, fabricate it, install it, and stand behind your product.
I don't know if you have an "employee of the month" program, but if you do, these 2 guys (Bob & Jeremy) get 2 votes each from Steve & Kathy Palmer.

Thank you
all so much for the outstanding job you did on our granite countertops. Without your help and craftsmanship it wouldn’t
have been the same experience. Each of you contributed in your own expert way and as a team you have succeeded in creating
extremely satisfied customers. In short you have provided outstanding customer service.
With a kitchen remodel lots of things can and do go wrong, but that was not the case working with
you. In fact working with all of you was one of the bright spots in the project. We have been very impressed with the seamlessness
of operation from our first meeting with Kaylee until Jeff dropped off the last piece of granite last week. You do a terrific
job in all aspects of the operation, from the store front customer interface to the fabrication and installation. Each of
you have been a pleasure to work with. Thank you all for your helpfulness and patience.
You should all be proud of the the job you do because you do it well. In short YOU ROCK! (no pun
intended).
